Music & Dance CLUBS

The Loyola College Chapel Choir

Loyola's Music Ministry enjoys national recognition for its musical artistry, leadership development and faith formation. The 60-member Loyola Chapel Choir rehearses every Thursday evening and ministers at the 6 p.m. Eucharist each Sunday. No auditions are necessary.


Loyola College Gospel Choir

The Loyola College Gospel Choir (Chosen Generation) is made up of students who perform at various events on campus as well as their own concerts. They rehearse every Monday evening and perform a variety of gospel music as well as spirituals and hymns.


The Chorale/Madrigals

This ensemble group offers performance opportunities for choral singers as well as soloists. Two major concerts are held each year in addition to performances both on and off campus.


Loyola College Belles

The Belles are an all female a cappella group.


Loyola College Chimes

The Chimes are an all male a cappella group.


The Naturals

The Naturals are a co-ed a cappella group.


Jazz Ensemble

Formed in 1989, members of this group have performed throughout the Baltimore and Washington, DC areas. Made up of a variety of musicians, this group explores and develops both the ensemble and improvisational skills of the musicians.


Loyola Dance Company

The Loyola Dance Company explores dance in many forms, including jazz, tap, ballet and hip-hop. In addition to holding weekly workshops on styles of dance, the Loyola Dance Company also showcases their work each spring at their annual show.


By His Grace Praise Dance Ministry

By His Grace Praise Dance Ministry is a group who celebrates faith through dance. It provides an opportunity for gesture, movement and dance to become a form of ministry and prayer. Periodically the group takes part in Mass Services on campus.


Step Team

The Step Team provides a chance for students from diverse ethnic, cultural and religious backgrounds to get together and celebrate music and dance. They organize several performances each semester and are very active in fundraising.
